Our Goals
We provide slow paced education for fast times.
Education with us is about active participation in the journey, rather than arriving at a set destination.
At Little Squirrels we aim to provide the spark to ignite the fire for learning.

Our Home
Our permanent home base is found at People's Parkfield CIC, Paignton, South Devon.
The plot of land we have claimed back from the tall weeds is based centrally adjacent to the skatepark.
We're accessible on foot, bike, by bus or train and have a carpark next to our Forest school.
We work hard to make nature as accessible as possible, hence the creation of a level sloping access suitable for prams and wheelchairs.
On entry you'll see "the Drey Cafe" our space for children to cook up a messy, muddy storm and treat their parents to a fab mud hot chocolate.
Walking round you'll then arrive at "the stage" a space for sensory play, mud digging, music making and more.
The path continues to the left leading you to our allotment growing space where children and grown ups can get involved with growing their own fruit and veg to be cooked over the campfire. Food miles are almost 0, with the most local and fresh produce coming straight from the plot!
Through the gap in the hedge you'll enter our fire circle, you'll spot our hammocks for chilling in, our Willow dome and the secret den space where no grown ups are allowed.
In wet weather we have a gazebo for shelter.
A small 2 storey building will be renovated in time to create a learning hub and craft studio upstairs and indoor cozy play space downstairs.
